On-Site Cartridge Alignment
& Turntable Setup Service

AnalogMagik provides on-site setup service worldwide. We have been flown across the globe to perform setups in the USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Portugal, Germany, and other European countries.
Setup benchmark: Based on distortion analyzer results, to accurately retrieve signals in the most undistorted form. We will not set up a cartridge based on your ear, your friend's ear, or some 3rd party's ear, as the ear is not our benchmark.
Each cartridge we set up will entail a complete alignment using the Acoustical System Processional Alignment Set and fine-tuning using AnalogMagik Distortion Analyzer and Test LP:

Dynamic Alignment - The cartridge will be aligned with a proper viewing angle using a dynamic alignment process discussed in our setup video. Typically, this process takes about 1 hour.

Speed Adjustment - The turntable speed will be calibrated using AnalogMagik test signals with the stylus playing on the groove. This takes into account the dragging force of the stylus in the grooves.

Azimuth Adjustment - This process takes 1-2 hours and will be performed using AnalogMagik's combined Azimuth/VTA Test Track. It will be set up to the crosstalk ability of the cartridge.

The setup process typically takes 2-5 hours for each cartridge.
If the speaker position is not optimized, the system may not be able to reveal the difference, and in such a scenario, the speaker may need to be repositioned.
Cost: USD 500 per cartridge + Transportation cost, Flight, Room, & Board if necessary.
Bookings must be made at least 1 month in advance, subject to availability and scheduling. We reserve the right to not accept certain bookings due to scheduling and geographical limitations.
